I noticed yesterday that the back plate of my front passenger door handle (2016 Platinum) was missing the glossy black finish. It appears that either that the plastic back cover is missing (either from someone trying to break-in or it just fell off). Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone know if I can order a replacement part? It just seems odd that one day it was perfect and the next day I walk out to this.

You can purchase just the part you’re interested in but you’ll have to get it painted.
These used to be offered from the factory painted but not anymore.
The prep and paint work will cost more than the part itself.
