New member here my first post. Just letting everybody know I just downloaded the official latest update from ford for a 2018 f-250. This brings the software up to version 19205. Download and install went as expected with no issue. If any problems come up I'll post back here.
Did it come up from 18093? Im still on version 3.0 in my 2018. I haven't seen an update on the site in quite a while until today, Could it be the same update I installed months ago?
This is the JR3T-14G381-AS available for Super Duty now @ Ford owner website. It is for sync 3.0 and brings the build number up to 19205. It will still be running sync version 3.0 when installed.
I'm afraid to do it because of potential issues it could cause, without explaining what it could fix. Wish I had the same option on my mobile phone. Like hey, let's jack up all your settings you had, and how everything worked, and it's not optional. Never updated the truck, since I do have a choice to not do it. It aint broke, so I aint fixin it.
I have started and stopped my truck at least three times since the update and the radio stays on SXM! Maybe it’s fixed. Maybe not. Time will tell. But before it always shifted to AM.
Thanks for the heads up. Radio thing has been driving me nuts for a year. Knock on wood, since I did update to new build this morning, it's stayed on iPod or whatever I've had the source set on all day without getting hung up on FM and me having to push power button twice to straighten it out. Woohoo!
