Cam

I'm looking to put a cam in my 1978 F-150 with a 351M/400, does anybody have any video clips of their cams?

If your build is pretty much stock your cam should be pretty much stock too.

Unless you have the rare closed chamber 351 heads you're only gaining a couple cc's on the 351C heads so don't expect much.

Using Comp cams as a simple example I wouldn't go over a 260H type cam. you simply don't have a need for it with the low compression.

Be aware, if you go too big on the cam, you will have to upgrade your valve springs. The Comp Cams 260H camshaft is an excellent option to run with stock springs. Any bigger, get the entire cam kit (about $400).

If that's the case consider converting to a 385 series and have something when you're done.
