Mud Flaps Recommendation

Hi FTE

I need mud flaps for my 00 Exc. I tried some Husky ones but they did not fit. I got the small trim on the fenders. I'm open to trying whatever. 2 miles of gravel road in the winter/spring is brutal.

Also, what have you done to keep dirt/gravel from packing into the front bumper? There's no wheel well cover on the front tire. It just throws dirt into the bumper.

I put a set of DuraFLaps on my Ex when it was almost new. They’re still on it. I think they were instrumental in my truck staying in good shape. I have no lower body rock chips, etc...

it seems to me there are only 2 sensible choices,

the classic trucker girl or the always acceptable keep on trucking.

When I recently replaced my wheel liners, I also replaced the rubber splash guards (masticated rubber). I modified the splash guard footprint to cover more area. You could probably do the same to prevent debris from building up on the backside of the front bumper.

34$ well spent

i have lived on the same kind of roads. Yes that rock and sand mix is rough.

I use these rally armor universals.

20” on trucks. 12” on minivan and crv

not the best for style but the stick out catches the debris

ill attach pics in a bit.

my goals are not show truck. Maintenance and longevity and rust prevention are tops for me.

i used metal roofing screws into fender skirt/liner metal backer fender and where the back up was only plastic I put a rectangular piece of aluminum sheet behind to make a sandwich.

this is the 12 size on my minivan. Wish I had put them on sooner. Rockers were getting beat to snot and rusting. 07 sienna.
