I am looking for a good machine shop in the Everett area for engine work on my 400. I have used Huson Automotive/Shark Racing Engines in the past but he is 6+ weeks out. So 6 weeks for him to look at and let me know what size pistons to order from TMeyer. Time to wait for them to get back to me on ordering, then back on waiting list for the engine work. Not sure I want this apart in my garage for 6 months. I have heard both good and bad about Jays Machine in Everett.
To Miata - no engine mods...yet. Thinking about FM turbo. Cobalt cat back w/ resonator.
Just installed MeisterR CRD coilovers, lowered approx. 1". New 15x7 w/ 205/50R15 Neo Gens. Fun little car. Just needs more HP.
Are those Konigs? I've been looking at the Dekagrams and a couple other wheels for my 89 Civic Si project.
What are you building for? Autocross, track or fun?
Definitely like the clean build and that it isn't totally clapped out like most of the drifter types.
Yes they are Konigs. Dial-Ins I got thru Good-Win-Racing. Miatas like light wheels and these are just under 11 lbs. Just for fun. After years of driving an 06 F150 it was time for change. One of the reasons the F350 is a budget build. LOL
Yeah, Doug is especially good with anything that can be considered any form of a racecar. I don't even personally know him, but he's very good friends with my friend who has a Miata with a LS3 swap.
Sidenote - Ranaway Diesel is next-door to Chase Race, so I whole-heartedly recommend both shops to cover your gas/diesel needs.
