I had been getting low power for sometime and visually confirmed a blowout in the plenum. Yesterday I installed the RRbillet for an instant performance boost. The truck smokes a fraction of what it It used to (edge 80 tune) and there is a significant performance increase. I was under the impression thanks to the leak the engine was not being told the boost pressure it should be so the engine was not commanding what it was programmed to fuel wise in stock or other tunes. I feel if I never drove a 7.3 I would think everything is OK but things could be a little bit faster and show a little bit more pep.

tomorrow’s replacement will be the tube going from the spider to map sensor the current tube is severely degraded. I picked up some USCG A1-15 today but the boat is a better place to make this post than the truck at this time.
After that the only other part in the turbo system left is the map sensor I believe. Fuel filter has 5 k on it and does look black after 10 k my posts on that people have said keep running it. I think it could be o rings but the truck does not show any sign they are bad besides the filter, barely uses oil, and starts immediately. Maybe there’s is a leak but I do not feel replacing them( glow plugs, valve cover gasket, under valve cover harness, o rings, and new bolts) will make the difference I’m looking for. Which brings me to the Map sensor.
I installed the new hose today to the MAP there was some improvement. There were no holes in the old one yet it was brittle and possibly not making a complete seal.
