I used a length of auto upholstery carpet, running from back of cab, under seat and up firewall. Forming the front is a bit tricky because the cab narrows. If I were to do it again I think I would section the front and either sew or seam tape the front so it conforms better to the shape of the firewall.

I did mine really on the cheap. I put down a layer of "Frost King" duct insulation on the floor for sound and heat insulation. It's a self adhesive closed cell foam with smooth foil backing. The carpet is a $10 area rug from Walmart cut to fit. I trimmed the door sills with some aluminum angle painted black and secured with a few pop rivets. I used some spray adhesive where your feet sit but other than that it's held in place by the items that sit on top of it, the door sill trim, seat, shifter trim ring, speakers under the seat.

thank you for all the information. I was going to use the insulation that was left over from my friends remodel similar to ZSK post. But the area rug idea was spot on. I cut holes in the insulation and will transfer it to my rug. I am going with old saying someone said. Measure twice cut once.
Thanks
Jerry
