Throttle position sensor help. Please!

1996 F350 7.3l Turbo - Was having some throttle issues. Read a couple places where it might be the throttle position sensor. Heck, $30 part, can't complain even if it doesn't help. Put the new one in and the truck will start, but no throttle at all. Put the old one back in and it's the same way. Is there a relearn procedure?? Check engine light is now on, but this ****ty code reader I got says there are no codes.

The TPS won't work if the Idle validation switch is not working
