Solenoids

I am wanting to replace the solenoids on1995 ford f150.when I look them up some that look identical say 1996 2004 .didn't know if they will work in 95 with 4R 70 W. Didn't know if these go bad or if you can't test them.

What trouble code did you get to determine the solenoids needed to be replaced?

Talk to a parts guy at a Ford dealer. Give him the VIN of the truck and get a good FORD part number that you can cross reference if you want to buy it elsewhere. Dealers are not evil, they can help you!!
