Will autoenginuity work on a '95 psd that has a obdII plug? I've heard it couldn't do injector buzz tests or that there were some limitations for the early trucks.

 

Yes it will work, you may have to tweak the connection settings to get it to communicate with the PCM though.

 

Works on both our '95s. Yes, you MUST choose "non-OBD-II"; I forget where. Just pull up the user guide PDF and do a search on "powerstroke" or "power-stroke"; it'll take you to the page with that setting. It will _kinda_ work without that setting, but it's unreliable. Pulled my hair out until I found that in the PDF.

Does the buzz test and KOEO on both trucks just fine. Also reads all PSD-specific goodness I could find; EOT, go-pedal position, MAP, Baro, etc. Haven't tried a CCT yet (just haven't had occasion to fiddle with it while the engine's running).
