My 2004 ford 6.0 shows no Egr codes but the presmog check shows the egr failed. The EGR is new as well as the EGR cooler. Any ideas?

 

Has it been driven enough to clear any readiness codes? Thad would hang you up for a while.

If any one thing is not met then it will not clear.
You need to look at live data and have it scaned for codes.

 

Scaned for codes and found no egr codes , just ficm no compatible with program and keep alive memory. Scan with snap on Modis and fixed module. Ficm was changed 4 years ago and truck runs great.
