I think the real reason they aren't available on the 450s, is the possible 110psi rating--Ford sensors are not set up for that.
I have the TST on truck/trailer but don't turn it on if running solo. With the trailer, no way would I be without them.
1. I bought a 2020 F-450 Platinum and there is no truck TPMS available (ridiculous, even considering any of the possible reasons mentioned above).
2. The optional trailer TPMS doesn't show up on the truck's digital display at all.
3. A customer-installed trailer TPMS and auxiliary camera is, however, an available option on the build sheet on Ford's website.
4. The dealer does not show a part # for the optional kit for 2020.
5. The trailer TPMS and B/U camera kit on my trailers from model year 2017 has a 12-pin plug that fits the 2020 and the trailer camera works, just not the Trailer TPMS...
6. The dealer says there may be a way to "flash" the truck so I can read TPMS on the trailer.
Hey BTBRV. Big fan! See the recent hatchetman post. The option is indeed on the build sheet, it just doesn't display on the truck I have.
I have a 2020 F450 and thinking about the TST 507 for my truck and soon to have 5th wheel but wasn’t sure about which sensors I would need . Looks like the regular cap style would be less obtrusive. If I put them on all the truck and trailer tires it would be 14 sensors counting the spares . ( 7 - truck , 7- triple axle trailer) . Wish they made smaller flow though style caps . Do they make kits with that many sensors or do you have to buy them separately?

I purchased mine directly from the company. They have kits with any number of sensors. Seeing as their design was built for semis, they come in kits to out fit one. It’s much cheaper to buy them in the kit. Individually or in pairs gets expensive.

Does anyone know anything?
Getting ready to order my own 2020 F450 Platinum. Did yours come with metal valve stems or not? Just curious if I'll have to change them out or maybe have them done pre-delivery or not.

The SD manual states and implies that your vehicle has TPMS. However, it does not appear that the F450 has it and I have heard that it is because the sensors don't work in steel carcass tires because the radio signal can't get
out. The 2020 SD order guide says:
So it appears that the F450 does not have TPMS.
I have searched the display menus for tire pressure on my 450 and it does not appear to be there.
Can anyone verify this?
In that case an aftermarket system may be the best option. I had an after market system on my 2008 F250 and one my trailer that worked well, the only problem was that rubber valve stems would fail periodically because if the weight of the sensor hanging on the end. I replaced them with metal ones and that appears to have solved the problem.
TPMS is not definitely offered on the 2020 F450. You are correct that the same problem the 2107-2019 had carried through to the 2020 - the steel carcass medium duty truck tires just don't pass a signal. I am happy with my TST 507 color system for truck & trailer. I have a Builtright Industries mount in that useless dash tray with 3 ram *****. My TST stays mounted there. Will add a USB power to the tray at some point as well, but the battery on the TST lasts a very long time.
Anyone find a ram mount or something that would work with the builtright dash mount for the TST 507? Hate having stuff suck to my windshield.
I've got the Builtright dash mount, and 3 Ram ***** mounted to it. For the TST Color 507, I used a short Ram arm, and a Ram X-Grip to hold it - works perfectly. The other two Ram ***** are for the Trailer Rear observation camera and an RV GPS... both of which I use the long Ram arms. I bought a dual USB, and a 12v outlet to mount in the tray as well... but haven't got around to it yet as the battery in the TST lasts so long I haven't been motivated to install them.

How did you mount your sensors? Did you have to add any extensions? Did you have to have the stems turned a different direction on any tires to get the sensors to work?
I've got a 2019 F450 and have been thinking about the TST system for my truck and my triple axle fifth wheel.

Do you have a link to the ram mount or whatever you are using to mount the TST to your builtright? I have the same set up and looking for a mount for the TST. Thanks!
