4.30 limited slip diff

I stumbled on this FTE link which states that the LSD that comes with Dana 80 + 4.30 gears is a Detroit True Trac.

The link is 15 years old, so that's a lot of time for Ford to change their mind on this, but it'd be great news if true.

Anyone know for sure?

FYI, wanting for a F350 DRW 2WD cab and chassis with 7.3 gas.

FYI, wanting for a F350 DRW 2WD cab and chassis with 7.3 gas.

No helical LS on the M300. It is a standard friction plate design, and only average in operation.

Patiently waiting for EAton to bring out a True Trac for the M300.
