.I would love to meet ALL FTE members if anyone FTE comes to San Diego Please pm me I will do what I can to meet/help you etc...being "mytoolman" means ETHYL THE ToolTruck and I are in and out of dealerships,municipal repair garages,and general vehicle repair shops everyday so im easy to meet with..I love phone calls that start with "Hi Gary..WHERE ARE YOU?"

I am scheming a SoCal trip with at least one of my three boys, and/or a buddy and his sons.

I was in San Diego back in February, we went to nice little auto museum in balboa park. Also got to go up to Chip Foose's shop. My daughter rented us a 65 mustang to cruise up the PCH. Sure was nice compared to Buffalo ny in the winter.

When I go on a trip I try to arrange a meet with fellow FTErs on route and in the area, sometimes the chagrin of my wife. I usually end up spending more time than she likes talking trucks.
I have an idea, you could host a San Diego FTE meet!!! It's a 2300+ drive for me in the F-2, map says 31 hours which would translate into 50 hours old truck drive time plus there's mountains and desert in between, maybe add another 10 hours.
