5.8ltr ignition issues
I have a 1989 F-150 lariat 5.8ltr. I’ve owned it for 4 months, it’s always idled relatively high, but recently it’s been missing really bad, and it’s died a couple of times in the last week. Through research online (some here) I decided to replace the ignition control module. I unplugged the connector, marked the distributors location, loosened bolt holding down the distributor, turned it about1/4 turn. Used 5.5mm deep socket to remove old ICM, greased, and installed new, moved back to original position, hooked back up.... truck won’t start! WTF DID I DO WRONG?!?! Any advice is appreciated.

I forgot to mention, that was the first thing I did after it wouldn’t start.
