My 1990 F-150 w/a 302 suddenly won't start. Their is no spark from the coil. I've been told to check the electronic ignition module but I'm not sure of its location. Sure would appreciate any help.
A frequent culprit for a no-spark condition (assuming voltage is reaching the coil) is the TFI module (bolted on the side of the distributor) or the PIP sensor (Hall effect device in the distributor). Good place to start. HTH

Hey: Where is the ignition model anyways. I think I know where it is on my '89, but lost as to its whereabouts on my '93...
It is located on the side of the distributor, it is where the wires conect. It has two small bolts That attach the module to the distributor, you will need a small tool designed for this.
I found the TFI module, it is on the inner fendor on the driverside, but I still can't find the ICM. I was looking for it in my Haynes Manual Page 5-11, and it stated that it would be a remote mount. What would that mean?
