Hello, new here and have a question about the PVC system. I believe this is a ‘91 460 out of a van, now in an ‘87 F250, carbureted.
Looking at this diagram, there is a ventilation line from the driver side valve cover to the air filter. My engine does not have this, only the oil filler cap. I do have the pvc valve going to the carburetor on the passenger side.
Is the ventilation needed on the passenger side cover? Are both sides separate to where vents are needed on both?
thanks for any information
Can’t really see pvc from this picture, just for reference of my engine

Reason: Fix Typos
The vent cap is to let air in that the PCV valve is pulling out so you don't put the crankcase in a vacuum. There should be a PCV filter in the air filter housing so that it is drawing in filtered air.
They are not separate, both valve covers are open to the crankcase where the vapors are created.
