AE PATS programming security access

Hello I have a 2011 6.7 and I’m trying to access the pats programing function but am unable to get pass the security access.

I am installing the oem remote start and also wonder how I can connect to Forscan also?

Any help would be appreciated

The PATS security access has an approx 30 minute delay unless you have the proper credentials and can be validated. You will have to stay connected while it times out before you can proceed. This is the same for the Ford IDS or FORScan.

You will need an OBDII adapter and a laptop/computer to make the changes with FORScan.

Many use a Bluetooth adapter so they can also use their smartphone and the FORScan app to monitor their truck. The app will not allow you to make changes at this time. Many use the OBDLink MX adapter.

I use a USB wired adapter with my laptop. Some of the ELM327 OBDII adapters have the HS/MS BUS switch.
