Hey all, have two old carbs, both leak , good news is the new fuel lines and pump dont and work. So one is an 8ha, the other a 7ht they look pretty much identical so would the rebuild kit be the same?
I don't know myself, but if you go to Mike's Carburetors, they'll tell you if their website doesn't. They answer posted questions pretty quickly, or you can call them too. Great service there.
Not the expert here but it's likely they are similar enough the same kit would work, or have pieces for both if there's something different. I can tell you the HT carb is a truck carb where the HA carb is a car carb. Biggest difference is the air horn at the top of the carb where the air cleaner fits. Truck carbs all seem to have that pointy lip flange where car carbs are smooth.
