As for me, I would take it to another dealer. Preferably a dealer that has a huge sales volume and therefore has probably seen a lot of issues, and has a good relationship with Ford.
Yeah, after re-reading it, I guess I should’ve used some emojis to show its more tongue in cheek. I cleaned it up. I was pushed around for 28k before anything was done, and now my new mill is burning oil too. Not quite one quart in 3,000 miles, but way more than I’ve ever experienced with my past trucks.. Yep, that makes me overly sensitive. I just dislike seeing good people get taken advantage of and the culprit getting away with it. I hope the OP gets justice.

Maybe this is why the 5L coyote is rumored to be getting replaced with a 4.8L V8?

That article is from 2016. Nothing ever came from the 4.8 rumors.

Ford should take it’s exceptionally reliable 6.2 and reduce it to about 5.5 liters, then call it a day. Reducing the displacement would probably increase the reliability even more. It would be a very competitive 1/2 ton engine option considering that all of the other manufacturers offer V8s in the 5.3-5.7 liter range.

I started a new thread to discuss the rumored 4.8 here. Don’t want to sidetrack this thread.
