Error cope P0069 MAP/BARO sensor correlation issues! Really need help!!
2012 F250 6.7 98k miles. I’ve replaced the MAP sensor and now it looks like I need to BARO or BAR sensor. I’ve done some calling around and no one seems to know what I need or have that sensor. Ford told me that the sensor is located in my mirror and would be 600 bucks to replace. Can anyone lead me on the right path? Really needing some help here! Thanks

Thanks for that. Any idea of the location of the BARO sensor? I think I have an idea but I haven’t seen anything concrete yet.

As I said, I believe it is part of the PCM. Not a separate item.
If you notice the basic part number (12A650) of the PCM and BARO are the same. To me, this indicates the BARO is located within the PCM.

Yep. The PCED explicitly states that the BARO sensor is integral to the PCM.

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like I’ll be putting a new PCM. Any suggestions on where to get one from? Any particular site or company?

Check LKQ or eBay.
Did you use FORScan and look a the PIDs in the trouble shooting I posted?

Thanks. And I don’t have Forscan, only a edge insight 2 that I scan codes with. I’m assuming the dealer has that?

You can get an OBDII adapter and FORScan for a smartphone/tablet that might let you view the PIDs.

Did you end up replacing the PCM and did it fix it? I to keep getting a P0069 even after replacing the MAP Sensor

I recently had a p0069
short version of the story…
if you have scan software and can setup a monitor for map pressure ….monitor the map pressure at shut down…if the map pressure drops to 6 or 7 at shut down ..remove the oring from the map sensor and clear the code.
