Over drive button not getting power
Hey y'all. First post and hopefully someone can help.OD button isn't working and I already replaced the lever. Truck shifts fine but can't turn OD off and I haul a trailer a bit. It seems it's not getting power when I check volts on the red/yellow with key on. The wires look good on the plug end that goes to the PCM but I can't see all of them. How should I narrow this down and find the solution? Vechile is a 93 150

Does the OD light ever come on? If the transmission has a serious problem, it may go into a limp mode where most of the features don't work and it runs the hydraulic pressure high to keep it going. Does it shift harsh?

No it doesn't shift hard. I got it sorted out. The new shifter I installed had a bad wire inside of it. I pulled off the housing around the shifter itself and found it. I spliced in new wire and wrapped it in heat shrink and electrical tape. Crazy cause I know the shifter I installed was fine before. It came from my parts truck and remember it working. O well. Fixed
