Blend door thread?

Blend door thread?
Can someone tell me where to find the thread that has to do with the blend door fix? I looked in the tech folder and couldn't find it. Would like heat in the X before winter hits!

Our Ex was in an accident over a year ago and has been parked, so this is from what I remember. The rear heat works great, but not the front heat. I believe I had it narrowed down to the front blend door. IIRC the Heater Treater had a metal shaft and a regular replacement is plastic, which breaks again where the actuator plugs into it. There was a thread about it that I was trying to find and read through it again. Thanks Stewart
