I have 3.0 and I keep getting a pop up message when I start my truck that an update has been detected. When I push the "yes" button at the next pop up that asks me if I want to continue with the update I immediately get a "fail" message. I get this even when I am sitting in my garage and know I am connected to WiFi.
I called the Ford helpline and they were no help at all. I even asked them if they could send me the update via email so I could then download it onto a jump drive to manually reinstall it and they told me they could not do that. I logged into the Ford Owner site and an update was not even available for me to download manually.
Ford really does not seem to have their act together when it comes to technology, specifically Sync, and their ongoing support of it is dismal at best.

I downloaded it 3 times with the same results, I even looked at the last one I downloaded (3.08) and the lines of root files look the same. I even rebooted the sync in the truck by disonnecting the battery like I do every time it freezes up. It never used to freeze up until I installed 3.08 
I was hopping 3.10 would fix that.
