Did your SYNC update today?

Anybody else notice their SYNC update by itself today? I seem to have no more issues! Seems to good to be true! ;-)

Mine isn't set up to update automagically and I don't have anything indicating a newer version of Sync is available.

My truck downloaded Sync 3 v3.0 on Feb 11th. I'm still having trouble with the radio not remembering my last channel or holding on to my last setting. Today it went from satellite radio to FM after I turned off the truck to go into Lowes. Was in there for maybe 10 minutes and at startup it was switched.

From the SYNC 3 touchscreen, press the Settings icon in the Feature Bar, then press the General icon. On the next screen, select About SYNC (you may need to scroll to see it) and your SYNC 3 software version will appear at the top of the following screen.

Weird. I have it set to auto update. All of a sudden when I started the truck this morning, it showed the little circle in the top right corner indicating something was downloaded. I pressed on it and it gave me the message that my SYNC had been successfully updated. Quite certain I had ver. 18093 months ago. I did it with a USB stick.

I now don't have the annoying WIFI message every time I start the truck and it's not resetting to FM radio.

Updated mine back in October to 18093. Wish I could take that moment back, that's when the random mode upon restart began.

Does anyone know of a reputable website (besides Ford) to download the latest version of Sync 3?
I had the dealership install the Sync system in my new 2016 F250 but since it wasn't factory installed I can not get the updates - I've called Ford and the Sync team and both say there is nothing they can do.
