Punctuation would help me understand what it is that you are on about.

Did you fix your problem? What was "not connected"?

OP, is this what you meant?

Fuel gauge reads 3/4 to full tho there's barely any gas in (it).

Found receipt for brand new electric fuel pump tho there's no float or any sign to show gas signaling on it anywhere.

Can('t) seem to find fuel sending unit or if wires are crossed.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

If so, the sending unit & float are inside the gas tank. It sounds like it might be stuck or hung up some how. I do not think there are any wires to "cross" that would cause the sending unit to read 3/4 to Full, all the time, on the fuel gauge.

Sounds like the truck might be a 4x4 with the front driveshaft removed(?).

That sounds about right.

I agree the float and sending unit are in the tank and it is probably stuck 3/4 the way up or full.

Just throwing this out there, correct me if i'm wrong. So if he disconnects the fuel gauge the pointer should fall to Empty and if he applies power to the gauge and ground the sending unit side it will peg out to full?
