What book is this? This could be handy to have the 64 that I'm working on.
I'm pretty sure I remember from another thread that that's a salesman reference manual that he happened to pick up at a swap meet before. I'd love to find one myself, or even just a repro of it.
Got the hub caps done today. They didnt turn out too bad for a backyard amateur rattle canner ha. They'll do for the time being until I get the truck repainted and wheels / hub caps powder coated.
So I'm a little confused still. Thanks for posting that though. According to that, it sounds as if the hub caps should be completely argent? I thought argent with red letters (I believe I found it out to be rangoon red). I also read elsewhere that they should be Corinthian white with red ford letter by ND on another thread. .
Anyone have photos of the Ford factory method of masking and painting hubcaps?
Eric
Not sure if it's the best way, but what I did was completely cover the letters in painter's tape, and then took a pen to outline the edges of the indentations, then took a razor blade to cut out around the letter edges where I had just marked prior. Then took paper to cover the rest of the cap.
