Nothing! Still sitting on jack stands in the garage collecting dust for the past 3-4? Yrs.
That transmission won't clear the frame cause I guess the cab bushings had been changed to something lower/smaller or something like that, so were gonna have to raise the cab & bed (so the cab won't catch on the bed) just to drop the tranny out. I also found out that the cab wasnt even bolted onto the frame! It's become a nightmare since we dont have the necessary equipment to do it with. I don't know why we just didn't pull the engine/tranny out as one unit & just do it that way, but whatever. Too far into it now to bother reconnecting everything to redo it the other way.

Okay, give up. I had another post I was typing for today, but it disappeared & now I can't find it or figure out how to bring up "auto-saved". Oh well...

Good morning everyone,
TGIF!
I have today off...Woohoo! It's been the week from Hell. We had 2 huge orders come in on Tuesday - CocaCola & groceries and I spent my entire 1-6pm shift stocking. It wouldn't have been so bad if they had been spaced out an hour or so between deliveries, but that wasn't the case. I had about 20 minutes to get CocaCola stocked & out of the way before our grocery order arrived. I don't think I've ever stocked so quick in my life... had maybe 7 cases left when groceries arrived. I finished the Coke order & by the time I was about 1/3 of the way through the grocery order, I threw my back out. I had to keep going cause if I had taken a break, it would've been over. Long story-short... after I got off work(6:40pm) I got in my van to leave & just sat in the parking lot crying. I could barely lift my foot to depress the brake pedal to shift into reverse. I spent the rest of that day & into the next morning crying off/on from the pain & even considered going to ER - but no insurance right now, so that was outta the question. Nothing I tried helped(except walking/standing) & I think I finally collapsed into bed from pure exhaustion around 3am. I was back up by 7am (not by choice) & had to try to walk it out before work at 1pm. When I gingerly gimped into work, my manager took 1 look at me & told me to run the register & not to worry about stocking anything unless we were totally out of a particular item. I was definitely thankful cause bending & lifting was probably outta the question. I am finally feeling better for the most part, but I definitely screwed something up in my back cause I still feel it around my left side/sciatica. Oh well, that's the price you pay for a job well done I guess!
I hope everyone has a Fabulous Friday & a enjoyable weekend.
