Morning guys
I think this will be Jimmys last bike build or modification as it was brought to our attention that Paughco will most likely be going out of business. Rumor has it, that they're running a skeleton crew and on a shoe string budget.
Sad that Mr. Paughs millionare children don't want to keep the family business going for future generations.

Hello everyone, I just moved to Reno about two weeks ago. I came out this way from Wyoming, it is a bit of a change. Land wise it reminds me a lot of home, people wise maybe not so much. There are about as many people in the reno metro as there are in all of wyoming.
This gets me to question however, do you know if a person must register their vehicle in the county where they live? Washoe county has smog checks that I didn't consider.
My truck will not pass for a few reasons at this current time and the amount of money required to get it to pass would probably be more than the truck is worth...or if nothing else for sure more money than I can spare at this time. If anyone has any other ideas or information anything is appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Raider

Hi Raider, can't answer your question with any confidence, but I live up at Lake Tahoe in Douglas county. We have no emissions check here and I heard that is because it is considered rural. Maybe that would give you an idea.
So you said you are in Reno, that is Washoe county. Ask a Washoe deputy where smog checks are not required, if there is such a place.

I am guessing here, but I would say that you have to register the vehicle in the county you live in. Since that is where it is parked and driven most often.

to register in another county you have to have mail delivered to a home in that county. PO BOX will not work. Will mail going to a residence in that county you can say you live there and can then register the vehicle in that county.
