Well, after trying to order a new left exhaust manifold from ford for a '94 3.0, it turns out that they made some with the EGR and some without.
I happen to have one w/o EGR....The exhaust manifold is no longer available from Ford....You can however get one for an engine with EGR...(of course it costs more).
I will now have to check junkyards for this part. I don't think I will have much luck due to rust..but I will still look. I am also going to see if I can hook up a EGR valve.
I would find out what the ID size of the hole is using a dial caliper machinist tool + go to a plumbing supply house + find a sutable plug or whatever it takes to seal this hole, even welding it! How's
your luck? Finding one in the bone yard?

haven't had any luck so far.....
I would buy headers, but they cost too dang much.
I've also been trying to find a gasket, not with any success though.
Out of curiosity, would any of the 'create-a-gasket' items work for this application. I know there will be extreme heat, and just curious if there is anything that could handle it. I really don't want to spend too much more that $150 bucks on this. I can deal with the noise until the truck dies.....160k on her now. everything else is running great.
I would find it hard to believe that there aren't plenty of good junkyard manifolds around. Do a little "leg work" ... I'm sure you'll be glad you did. Since you obviously have access to a computer, check the web for used parts too.
I'm guessing that they've made more of these engines with the EGR. That is all I have been able to find. I know I still have a few options, but just trying to make it cheapest and easiest as possible...
I've done some searching on the internet, if you know of any sites that offer used parts like that, it would be great if you could let me know.
