Can anyone tell me what the name of the sensor that screws into the intake where the arrow is pointing? Its an 89 F150 with an EFI 302. Thanks
Randy Trying to get her done!
I don't think anything is supposed to go there. The air temp sensor is already in place.
Looking at this again I think you are right, the IAT is the sensor in the front intake port. That hole should be blind I think.. it doesn't go anywhere so if something was plugged in there is was by mistake.
The sensor or (thing) that was in the hole literally disintegrated upon removing it so I cannot make out a number. Also When I bought the truck there was no connector plugged into it that I could find which also was confounding. There is a hole thru and thru into the lower intake cavity. Would you suggest I plug it since the harness didn't appear to have a connector for it!
