1990 Dually
I'm considering the purchase of a 1990 F250 Super Duty Dually. In 1990 you could buy a F250 or an F350 dually. Back then both trucks would use the Dana 80 rear end and this truck has a 460 UI engine with a five speed manual trans. The truck is well optioned and I'm wondering if any of you know a way for me to get a copy of the order sheet, window sticker or other means of determining the ordering specs for this truck. I do know the truck also has a long wheel base and it's a 4X4.
I'm currently pulling a 24' trailer with my 2wd F250 SD (on a Reese hitch). I'm thinking of changing to a 2 or 3 car hauler on a gooseneck to do some short distance (750 mi Northeast) towing.
Thanks,
Sam
I’m not sure where to get copies of the original paperwork but someone here might be able to help.
dual rear wheel trucks were the F-350 and F-SuperDuty.
ford did not make a dual rear wheel F-250.
and the F-250 superduty was not introduced until 1999, so you have a plain old F250.
also, the F-250 and F-350 came with Sterling 10.25 rear axles, not the Dana 80
