I have a '99 F250 SD ex. cab psd with automatic trans. I can't say enough about this truck, love it in every way! I am curious about something though... What is the difference in the rear ends(not gear ratios) in the F250 and F350 SRW and the F350 Dually. I realize the leaf spring stacks and rates differ to accomodate the 3/4 and 1 ton ratings, but what is the physical difference in the construction of these three rear ends?
My dealer could not answer this and customer service number told me they don't answer tech. questions!
