4x4 grease seal
So ive had this rub rub sound for a while now. I ended up replacing both my front cv axles as well. I noticed that there is some sort of grease seal the protects the back side of the sealed bearing....My question is, does that come with a new hub bearing assembly when you get one? For soem reason mine is extrememly dry and brittle on the drivers side.....maybe a stuck caliper at some point prior to me owning it

Don't think you get a new one with the hub... I have also seen many that are hard / cracked... It basically keeps water from getting to the backside... look close, it don't do much... I have put a couple back together with bad seals when not readily available.. You could put some grease inside to help protect......... If your in no hurry to assemble, I would guess the seal is available.. I have never put in a new one.
