SCT tech support...not
Yesterday I was not able to connect my SCT X4 tuner to my laptop after doing the automatic check for updates. It just says device comm error. I tried different USB cables and still nothing. I keep trying to reach SCT tech support but the automated message keeps saying all techs are busy and then disconnects. It never gives the option to stay on hold waiting for a support person. Is this common for SCT? Starting to wish I had gone with a different brand but it seems so many on the forum recommend it and 5 Star's tunes.

I have had 2 issues with my SCT tuner in the past year. Both times I called and had to leave a # for call back and it did take a couple of hours for them to do so, but both times my SCT was re-programmed remotely (hooked the SCT to my computer and used TeamViewer) to resolve my problem. Try sending an email with a request for a call back and see what happens.
They must be having an issue that you are not able to leave a # for call back, but I can say that is not normal.
