got the rig running last night. Wound up being a combination of starter solenoid, depleted batteries and I think it was mostly the faulty ignition switch. Got it on the road today to test the transmission and it works great. It definitely puts a big smile on my face! I’ve only got about 5 miles on it but time will tell how she holds up. Happy new year fellas.
Pry on the ring gear (one tooth at a time...don't get greedy and break the transmission case) or use a 15/16" socket on the center of the balancer at the front.

I just wound up rotating the engine by hand on the flex plate. It was much quicker and less risky. Saved lots of time
