Just had my flywheel resurfaced and new ring gear installed... the ring gear has a bevel on both sides of the teeth, but the shop installed it with the less beveled side to face the starter. As you can see in the photo, there is much less bevel on that side...
Anyway, does this matter? Should I have it reversed before I install it, or is there enough bevel for smooth engagement?
