I am using some cheap Procomp boots for now. I asked the store if they could get their hands on a King roost guard as they are a dealer.

the boots will work better than just a roost shield IMO. I need to get boots on my icons too -__-

I run boots on both my ICONS and FOX's Just a little security on the shafts..

The boots actually fit pretty good and the machined groove on the Fox Eyelet holds it well. I am just worried about buildup in the boot.

Definitely better than nothing. One hit from a rock or stray bolt on the road and the shaft/seals are toast.

the build up is definitely a concern. it's why i never ran them on previous trucks. But it should only build up on the bottom and the shocks will never compress that far.
