You were sure right about that shipping! Nice trailer.....
Thanx, the only thing left on it is the tailgate, doesn't need it to load the tractor, but I can pull a pallet jack onto it with the winch if it has a tailgate so I started building one. Figured that would be handy. Also most of my large tools are on wheels so I can transport them as well.

It appears the mounts are breakfasting in Ct., so barring any more tornados I'll have them before I need them.
I got my old sand blast cabinet back from a friend I lent it to 15 years ago, it's a bit rough so I'm doing a quick rehab on it for the Resto SHop reserection. Hoping to have my chassis inside by the end of this weekend.
Ya, sorry, been sick as a dog for a week, and working long shifts to boot. Ya, they look good, somebody cut out a bit of the lip on one, but not a big deal to fix, they should work fine. Thanx.
I brought the cab in the shop to figure a couple of things out before I send it to Jack. Need to design an overhead console, and figure out what to do about AC vents.
Eric.....hmmm, well someone who cut a little lip off, would have been me. Sorry if it causes more work. I was the one who salvaged those from my dad’s 66.
Regarding ac vents...did you see the photos of mine installed in the dash??

Ya, yours came out nice, but I was hoping not to cut the dash. I bought some nice metal oval louvers, I'm thinking about mounting them in a piece of 2" square tubing bolted to the bottom of the dash on the right hand side of the instrument cluster. It would be about a 34" piece with room for 3 louvers and the controls, then maybe a single unit on the drivers side. I also want to get the AC air intake from the passenger side air vent.
The Vintage Air unit does not have a way to introduce fresh outside air to the evaporator. I don’t know if other makers have that. So far, it doesn’t seem to make any difference in how mine works, but I haven’t had occasion to use the defroster function yet.....

All of the aftermarket AC systems I have ever installed, and it's in the hundreds, all intake there air threw the blower squirrel cage which is always inside the cab. All you need to do is enclose that to a duct from the outside. The other thing you can do is remove the blower assy. and mount the entire assy. under the hood where you have more room to make a switchable duct system. But if you do that you'll want to make sure it is a 100% tight duct work so you don't suck in fumes from under the hood.
The ideal system will be able to switch from inside air to outside air. I shouldn't have a problem with space for the intake duct work, I'm going with buckets and a console, I can eliminate the glove box completely.
