I doubt you can co vert yours. It would be easier to get a unit from a junk yard, already equipped that way. Then you would need to get the proper switch and wire harness. Forscan would probably have to be used to enable it.
If it was my truck, I would have a Detroit TruTrac installed and call it a day. Easier and cheaper. I have never used my elocker, except to try it out. I would much rather have a limited slip. I don’t live in snow country and I’m used to how an LS drives after having one on almost every truck I’ve owned.

I thought so.
the reason I ask is because I hate the coin holder I think it’s the ugliest thing in the word lol and wanted to switch it out with something.
any ideas or mods that i could use to put in its place?
I tried googling but most just involve gauges and i don’t like that.
I've used the e-locker about a half dozen times thinking it would help in a low traction situation. About half of those times, I still needed 4WD to unstick myself. The truck has about 44,000 miles now.
I have it. A locked rear in ice and snow will just have you going sideways a whole lot. The traction control systems in these trucks are truly amazing most of the time. The two situations where I have found it to be of value is in climbing over some serious rocks where one rear wheel may be in the air and pulling a boat trailer up a slimy launch ramp where the boat and trailer keep you from going sideways. Otherwise I never use it.
