Injector question

I am going to do my injectors now. I am trying to figure out what is the best bang for my buck and power For now I have stock turbo and billet wheel from riffraff. I want to maximize power for my turbo, what injector size will do that? also thinking of future mods like better turbo. maybe a injector that will work but will still fill the need with an upgraded turbo.. In all I don't want to push it too much as a trans is not a upgrade I want to do before it is needed. I have e fuel and an intercooler, will also be putting on the water injection at the same time.

I would go stage ones unless you want more powah

500-1200 depending on your current injectors

Even with stage ones you will be fighting egts. May as well ditch the stock turbo system asap then do injectors.

I am running a 366sxe from Irate with stage ones from Jim and an all aluminum IC. I have efuel and a t500 as well.
Granted I didn't buy the turbo first and spent a fair amount of time and money making bellowed up pipes and building a d66 with a billet wheel. If I had put the turbo in first I wouldn't have built the top side of my efuel twice nor would I have built up pipes and IC pipes.

I don't need to spend your money choose what works for you.

Nate is correct. With only stage I's you can melt down the motor. Controlling EGT's with the 366sxe really helps, its a great fast spooling turbo. I went with the adrenaline hpop but the T500 is very good also. I have really good power to a point of EGT's getting high. But I can use the power longer with this setup then any other setup that I've had!

OK i will get that turbo first. what else is needed for that turbo? different mounts and up pipes? I would be grateful for a parts list if you have one so i can just go buy it. Will i need a custom tune just for the turbo upgrade? The turbo may be all i need or is it not much without the injectors? Thank you. If I don't spent this money soon it will go to something like ammo for my 50 cal and i don't need that LOL

Mike get the full kit from Irate. Make sure you have efuel and be ready to do some mods to the fire wall.

Edit:

Irate366sxe

Give them a call as well. They are super helpful and will make sure you get what will work for you. I see they have 369 and a 372 now as well......

That turbo will be useless without larger injectors. Personally, I'd get injectors first. In fact that is what I did. Yes, I see high EGTs with stage 1s and the stock turbo, but I can manage them very easily with the correct tune and my right foot. And towing it still way better than with stock injectors. Do I want a bigger turbo? Of course, who wouldn't. But I don't feel I absolutely need it. Just my $.02.

Before messing with injectors and turbo mods I'd get a PHP Hydra chip. There is a good selection of tunes that come along with it and that may be all you need.
