Is there anyone out there that knows how to put the ESOF back together?

I took it apart to clean the contacts, and a jack-in-box spring flew out, and I can't figure out how to put it back together so it makes the "click" at each stop.

Took mine apart as well when I replaced the light bulb. If I recall, there's also a small detent ball in there that gives you the click. If the spring flew away, you may have lost the ball also. The good news: if you need a new switch, they can be had on ebay or rock auto for about $20.

 

Indeed, it was the detente ball that vanished into thin air when the spring fell out. Dontcha just hate when pins, *****, and springs fly out when you open something up!
