Is there anyone out there that knows how to put the ESOF back together?

I took it apart to clean the contacts, and a jack-in-box spring flew out, and I can't figure out how to put it back together so it makes the "click" at each stop.

Thank you for any assistance or tutorial.

Took mine apart as well when I replaced the light bulb. If I recall, there's also a small detent ball in there that gives you the click. If the spring flew away, you may have lost the ball also. The good news: if you need a new switch, they can be had on ebay or rock auto for about $20.

Indeed, it was the detente ball that vanished into thin air when the spring fell out. Dontcha just hate when pins, balls, and springs fly out when you open something up!

Went to junkyard and got another one. Thank-you for your reply.
