Went up camping, pulling in, notice automatic trantransmission acting up, not wanting to shift. By the time gone unhooked and everything, now wint engage at all, like its in neutral. I notice fluid pouring out from the underneath. Pretty sure tranny is shot, but Hoping i can at least get moved.
If fluid was pouring out, it probably doesn't have enough fluid left in it to engage any gear. Does any fluid show on the dipstick?
These transmissions have a torque converter hub seal that can let go if the fluid gets too hot. Fluid will pour out, but once it cools down the seal often works fine again. You might just need to add fluid to get it going again.
