14 bolts complete front clip comes off. Makes for a WAY easier time than leaning over a fender and core support chasing bolts.
Now that's what I'm talking about!!! I'll walk thru this process this weekend. Thank you!!

And if you are working alone. I'd remove the hood from the front clip, but 1st shapie mark the hood position BEFORE you remove any bolts. Same for the front clip where the inner fenderwell is attached to the fire wall with the 3 bolts per side. Or do the drill bit trick. Also remember to take pics, tang and bag bolts.

This may seem out of sequence butbeforetaking your truck apart....ALIGN THE BODY PANELS!
When you're satisfied with gaps and positioning, drill 1/8-inch alignment holes at hood and door hinges, brackets, and at body panel overlaps and flanges.

For example, this is the cowl to inner fender bracket and it is adjustable vertically and horizontally. Therefore two holes are required. The same applies to the hood hinges. Insert the drill bits to index the part and bolt it down... it isEXACTLYwhere it was before removal.

If you don't like random holes, the hole(s) can be hidden under the washers. I just dab and wipe a lil black RTV to seal it up. Or…………………………

Pulling the hood, scribe or sharpie the hood hinge position (all the way around) on the underside of the hood. Pulling the doors, scribe or sharpie the hinge placement on the cab, leave the hinges on the doors.

The alignment holes you are showing is something I forgot to do when I disassembled my front end.
I can still see where everything was SO, I am going to go back and put my fender brackets back on and drill my holes.

Good ideas Rich! This will save a LOT of weeping and gnashing of teeth later!

Looks good, remember to brace the front clip under the center of the core support, to help keep the weight off the front fender front edges.
