2010 explorer ignition switch replacement

Guys I've tracked down my interior lights randomly coming on as I drive to my ignition switch. As I wiggle the key they flicker on off

I looked in the tech folder didn't see anything on this so

I'm sure a few of you have done this so any insight to this replacement would be greatly appreciated thanks

There are not many steps to it in the factory service manual. I've pasted the steps below. If you'd like the service manual excerpt with photos, send me a Private Message with the specific request ALONG WITH an e-mail address and I'll send you the PDF file for the ignition switch replacement.

Removal and Installation

NOTICE: Do not remove the ignition lock cylinder and the ignition switch at the same time or damage to the column may result.

Depower the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). For additional information, refer to Section 501-20B .
Remove the 2 screws and the steering column opening cover.
Remove the 3 screws and the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.
Push the 2 locking tabs inward and remove the ignition switch.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to Section 501-20B .
