1st post on forum. Bought a 2018 F250 today. I borrowed it for a couple days and towed my boat with it yesterday. What an incredible experience. My Tundra did a decent job of towing but this was a totally different experience that exceeded my expectations.
Couple of questions, the top mirror in the towing mirrors does not appear to be convex on the passenger side. I realize the bottom one obviously is very convex but I was really surprised the top one does not have a little convex to it. I feel like I can't see cars moving over from the far left lane on a 3 lane. I think I still need to tweak my mirror set up quite a bit but I definately have a bit of a blind spot that I don't have on my Tundra or GMC camper van which also has tow mirrors. Is it possible to get a replacement top mirror that is convex that will fit the factory mirrors?
Second question: My tow hooks on my boat would not fit over the spot to hook up the tow hooks under the hitch receiver. I had to get a couple of large add-a-Links that would barely fit over it and hook my tow hooks to that. Is there a better solution?
Thanks for any advice. Can't wait to tow again on Sunday.
I should add that I'm talking about the top mirror on the passenger side wishing it had a little convex in it. The split towing mirror on the passenger side of my GMC van is set up that way and I can see great.
I'm totally fine with the one on the drivers side having a flat mirror on top.

I exclusively use the bottom convex mirrors, I've never even looked at the top mirrors, it's like they are zoomed in. Angle it so you can just see your tires and you'll be able to see any cars around you.
Thanks for the Hammer Locks recommendation. I think they will work well.
I spent some time setting my lower convex mirrors this morning as suggested. I also turned my upper mirror down a little more and out a little more. We will see how it does when I go fishing in the morning. Thanks for the help.
