Glad you pulled that HIDIOUS HEI, clean Engine Bay there Sir.....................
I wasn't trying to build a show truck. Just a clean reliable truck I can drive whenever and wherever I want. Hopefully, I have succeeded. Time will tell.
Great looking truck and engine there! Just curious, did you have any clearance issues to deal with with the Hooker headers? I'm thinking about installing the same exact headers on my '70 F-100 w/stock 302 and BW T-10 manual transmission. Also out of curiosity, what transmission are you running there?
Thanks!

On the passenger side, there was a very small issue, but it was so minor the guy at the muffler shop who built and installed the exhaust system, cut out a small notch to allow them to clear. It's not an issue at all.
The transmission is a Tremec TKO 500. 5th gear is overdrive, and I Love It! I bought the transmission as part of a kit from Silver Sport Transmissions. American Powertrain also offers a kit for these trucks. I did not install a hydraulic clutch. I kept the old mechanical clutch. I may convert in the future, but the kit was another $700. I did not see the point at this time, since the existing clutch worked fine with the new transmission.
thatz $$ooooo nice.....$erious bling...Clean...Clean....C L E A N !!
Thanks! It could have been much cleaner if I'd redone and painted the engine bay itself, but at this point I was more interested in getting the truck back on the road.
