Battery dead in the Sienna, but it is too hot to go out and take it out, not too mention I have no tools to do that anymore. Will have to go to local O'Reilly's and rent a wrench, then take the battery there and see if it is good or bad. I hope it is the battery and not the alternator. Battery I can replace, alternator I will have to pay someone.

I bet you could get them to R&R the battery for you?
If I can get a jump start, I might just do that. If worse comes to worse, I could at least take it out there, and have them test it, and if bad, just put the new one in using their tools. If no jump start, I'll have to take the battery out, and put it in the scooter's rear bakes to take down there. Unfortunately, I had to pay the registration this month of $192, so there is no extra money. I may have to wait until next month to get this done. I could put it on the credit card, but it is close to limit, and I might need that extra for food. I can live without the Sienna for a bit as I can use the scooter to get food, but I can't go to church on Sundays because the scooter will not fit on the bus, and my church is on the other side of town.
I used to carry one of those portable jump starters. I actually never used it to start a vehicle; I used it to provide a portable source of 12V. Worked fine.

The roadside assistance guys that come to jump start my Sienna have one of those. I think I will get one as soon as I can afford it. However, my lift recliner just broke today, and that is a $900 chair. I don't have the money to replace it, so I called the VA to see if they can help. I will try and find out from the store I bought it from if there is any way it can be repaired. I have no clue if there is a warranty or not, but the chair is about 4 years old.
Have not tried the Sienna, it is 101 outside. The chair is a $840 Ashley lift chair. I bought it in June of 2016. It comes with a 1 year warranty from Furniture City and a 3 year warranty from Ashley. I did not get the extended warranty. They are going to have their tech call to see what it needs and give me an estimate. The wood that the backrest bolts to broke, I am thinking that it is an Ashley issue, but will know more when tech calls. I don't want to pay for a tech visit if it cannot be fixed, unless the repair is cheap. Which I doubt. Nothing cheap these days.

Don't know yet. Still waiting for the Furniture City tech to call. I did receive a call from the VA, and it looks like I might be getting one from them. However, he just called to see if the VA supplied the last one, which they didn't, and he said he is new at this, so I don't know if he will be ordering one or not. I would imagine they will set up an appointment first, and then order one. Like with the scooter. Find out how much I weigh, and order one that can handle that weight.
From here in The City, fog is gently rolling off The Ocean. A little breeze also. I felt the heat earlier when I went down The Peninsula. I don't know how anyone lives in The Valley. It must be really hot down there in Fresno.
Sure is hot out there in Fresburg. I used to date a woman who taught school out there Nice town and all that, but the summers are brutal. We hit a high of 73 degrees here today. Had to close up the windows a little bit ago (around 7PM) because the breeze coming through was a bit on the too cool side.
Tru dat. I like everything about Fresno except the heat in the summer time. Well that, and it is located in Kalifornia, instead of Nevada or Arizona, where you can open carry, and you don't have to be married to the Sheriff's family to get a CCW.
