90 e40d to 86 t19

Hey guys.
I know it been along time since I posted, truck went way down on project list.
Short story the E4od died overheating over 250 would get over 200 in 10 miles. normal was around 160. brass in the fluid. So I parked it started doing research for the cheapest way to get it back on the road. Last week I found what I thought was an 93 cab chassis manual parts truck .Figured ZF 5 and every thing I needed minus drive shaft my super cab vs regular cab . Offered 500 he agreed.

Went to toady to pay for it well it an 85 6.9 4 speed bad rearend, cab soso. Ended up getting it for 300.( right at scrap value). since there is a differance in years. now I have questions. I dont want to get in to the discussion of E4od good or bad, auto vs manual, 4speed vs 5 speed. I am aware of all that there are plent of threads on it already. Yes upgraded E4od best, E40D to ZF5 next then my swap. Yes fuel mileages is going to change. For what the truck will be used for is fine. Don't get me wrong I appreactiate all that valuable information and anyone considering a swap needs it.
Questions.
Which clutch kit , master cylinder and possible flywheel if needed the 85 or the 90? Rock has different part numbers for the 85 and 90 not going to order anything till I get the t19 out.
Will the 85 pedals work in my 90?
Steering column?

once I get what I need I an going to put the parts truck up for sale or scrap it . The rearend is trash.
Have no place to store the 6.9. If I scrap it is the IP the same?
THe E4od try and sell or scrap?
If the columns swap I will sell the auto with tilt do not use it.

Thanks

Flywheel and clutch plate will be the ones from a T19; backspacing is different on the ZF5 flywheel.

I think MC/slave is the same, should work.

Pedal box should switch over, IIRC - It's the OBS(92-94) that's different.

The drive shaft may need modifications if your wheelbase is different.

Get some degreaser and a wire brush and clean up the forward bell housing and inspect for cracks. If any are found drill holes in the end of them or find someone who can tig them up.

That flywheel will bolt to your 7.3 and work just fine. The pedals are bolt in although you'll have to make a hole in the firewall for the slave cylinder to poke through. The bolt holes on the bullnose era were already dimpled out so yours may be as well and you'll be able to easily get them in the right spot.

Your column bracket that attaches it to the pedal assembly will be wider, you may be able to use the 85 column but even if not one bolt will go and hold it well enough until you figure something out.

It's a pretty straight forward swap. The 4 speed dog house may even fit your 91 cab or stack in on yours for a pattern.

In a pinch we all do what's necessary, I love my 4 speed and it shifts like a dream without ever touching the clutch!

Had to modify for the turbo and hydroboost

If nothing else just put my current column in park and pull the lever.

If you are scrapping the 6.9 i could use a couple of small parts off it, if not you should be able to sell it on Craigslist for 2-300 bucks more if it will run.
